Cañon de la Vieja Adventure and Llanos de Cortes Waterfall

Our tour begins at the beautiful Llanos del Cortes waterfall where you’ll get to swim in its crystal-clear waters surrounded by an amazing tropical nature that will leave you totally astonished.

After such enjoyment, we head toward the Canon Lodge to start our adventure.

We start with the canopy tour, with a total of 8 cables and 16 platforms that travel from one end of the Colorado River canyon to the other, offering an impressive view of the nature below. Cables vary in length from 150m to 360m long and 75 m high.

Then, we hop on the horses and make our way to the river to begin the river tubing, not without first seeing the amazing flora and fauna this amazing area has to offer. Once at the river, get ready to have fun!! The exciting inner tube tour down the (class 2-3) rapids of the Rio Colorado with cool you off for sure!

End your day at the natural geothermal hot springs and mud baths, heated from the underground volcanic activity in Rincon de la Vieja volcano.

The last stop is to enjoy a delicious traditional buffet lunch, with your choice of the best fresh Costa Rican fruits, juices, and local cuisine to enjoy.
